Emerald Green Definition
In the context of art, emerald green is a synthetic deep green color. Emerald green was made in the 19th century from chrome oxide in an effort to make Scheele’s green better. It is used by artists and also as household paint. This pigment reacts when combined with some colors. For example, it reacted with any sulphur containing colors. It also fades in sunlight.
