Dynamic Range Definition
Dynamic Range is the proportion between the highest and the lowest possible values of a variable quantity, such as in signals like sound and light. In photography, dynamic range is the ratio between high and low light intensities such as white and black respectively. The abbreviation of dynamic range is DR or DNR and it is used in the art of photography. It connotes the possible pixel values of a digital image.
