Drawing Definition
Drawing is an art of producing/depicting pictures or shapes on any surface. It is a tool that artists use to express their thoughts and ideas. In drawings, artists use mainly lines to draw the picture. It is different from painting. However, a drawing includes color and shading and may show similarities to painting. There are different types of drawings such as life drawing, geometric drawing, emotive drawing, electrical drawing, technical drawing, sketching etc. Drawing is the foundation of all pictorial demonstrations and an early step in the majority of artistic traditions. Pen, pencil, and crayons are examples of some tools that are used to draw.
