Cup Plates Definition
Cup plates are mats for tea cups. They are china plates that hold cup to drink coffee or tea. It was used during the 19th century in United States. Most popular cup plates were made in Boston and Sandwich factory in Sandwich, Massachusetts. Original cup plates were made of blown glass. Later it was made from pressed glass.
