Crosscut Saw Definition
Cross cut saw came to usage during the middle of 15th century in Europe and had an M tooth pattern. Before 1880s, these saws axes were used for cutting trees.  These saws have fine tooth set used to cut through dense material. It may be small or large. The cutting edges are always angled in an alternative pattern. These special teeth are called “rakers” which is designed to clean out strips of wood from the kerf.
