Composite Order Definition
Composite order refers to a feature of classical architecture that combines Corinthian and Ionic orders. A typical composite order features two rows of acanthus leaves in the bottom portion of the capital and angled voultes in the top portion. The acanthus leaves belong to the Corinthian order and the angled voultes is a part of Ionic order.
