Claw Hammer Definition
Claw Hammer is a hand tool mainly used for pounding nails into or pulling out nails from a surface or any object, It is not designed for heavy hammering. A claw hammer has a broad head and a long handle. It looks like the English alphabet "T". The head has a striking face which is flat and a curved end which is ‘V’ shaped. The curved end is used to trap and extract nails. A claw hammer is commonly used for wood works, however, it can also be used on any other surface.
