Cinema Definition
Cinema refers to a theatre where movies are played for public. The term also refers to movies, in the collective sense. Louis Lumiere invented the first portable cinematograph which made the shooting of motion pictures or cinema easy. “Birth of a Nation,” made in 1915 by D.W. Griffith is considered as the first cinema of silent era.
