Celadon Definition
Celadon is a term used to denote a type of velvet textured glaze, generally white, green, gray, or yellowish in color. Ceramic pieces covered with Celadon glaze are also referred to as Celadon. China is renowned for its Celadon works. Celadon is also seen used with the factories based in Japan, Korea, and Thailand. They are very popular in the market and are still being made. Age-old Chinese Celadon plates and wares are seen in an antique market.
