Bold Definition
In the context of art, the term ‘bold’ may be used to refer to an art style. An artist with a bold style in art may often overstep and deviate from conventional rules. The term may also be used to refer to an artwork that is distinct, strong, direct and at times daring. In typography, bold means the heavier form of the standard typeface that is used to make the text bold.
