Black Definition
Black souvenirs were items made during 1940s and 50s. These items had the mark ‘F & F’ which referred to Fiedler & Fiedler Mold & Die Works Company. They have got great significance among the antique collectors and are commonly called Black Memorabilia or Black Americana. These objects have depictions relating to African American and Afro-European history. It usually has the depiction of black coloured figures embossed in tin, bottle opener, cookie jar, doll, toy, and salt and pepper jars.
