Aqueduct Definition
Aqueduct is man-made channel to distribute water to another area of towns and cities. In some instances, channels were supported by a series of arches, especially in Rome. Example of aqueduct is Pont du Gard near Nimes, France, and those found in Spain at Tarragona and Segovia.
