Wedgwood Definition
Wedgwood is a pottery company that was founded by Josiah Wedgwood. The company was established in England in the mid 18th century.  Jasperware, cream ware, and basalt were popular ceramic materials developed by Wedgwood. The company also produced porcelain wares in limited numbers. In 2009, a New York based company, KPS Capital Partner purchased a major part of Wedgwood assets. Now it is a part of WWRD Holdings.
