Thixotropic Definition
The viscous property of fluids and gels decreases when stress is applied or stirred. This is known as Thixotropic. That is certain fluids may be thick under static conditions. When pressure is applied, either by stirring or shaking, the fluid flows or becomes less thick or sticky. To return to its previous state, it may need a certain time.
