Textiles Definition
Any fabric or clothing that is more than 100 years old can be classified as antique textile. As the cloth or dress is more than 100 years old they are fragile and needs to be preserved. They will not hold up well, if worn. Victorian and Edwardian clothing and all other centuries old garments are considered antique textile. Once damaged, it is difficult to repair them as they will continue to deteriorate.
