Purpure Definition
The term Purpure is referred to a very rare form the color purple. In heraldry, purpure is a color, more or less the equivalent of the purple color. It is one of the five main or most usually used colors in this context. Purpure is present since the earliest periods, although it has never been as common as the other colors. One example is Purpure lion of the arms of Leon.
