Prehistoric Definition
Prehistoric art is the art that generated during preliterate period where the artifacts showed the evidence of artistic activities even 500,000 years ago. The Upper Palaeolithic and Mesolithic era showed evidence of several cave paintings and portable arts. Artistic figurines decorated with beads, rock arts, metal works, ornaments with beads and metals and early potteries were an integral part of prehistoric art.
