Plaque Definition
Plaque is a slab or a plate which is decorated or engraved with designs for hanging on walls or to insert on furniture for ornamentation. It may be in regular rectangular or oval shapes and may be made of ceramic. Plaque made of ceramic will be usually thicker compared to ordinary plaques which are made of metal, porcelain, or wood.
