Pitch Definition
Pitch is a material that is obtained from distilled deposits of coal tar. Pitch can also be obtained from the resin of sap of pines and other trees. This affluence so obtained may be dense, dark and sticky like that of wood tar and petroleum. Pitch is a material that is used for waterproofing, thatching, sealing, filling, tiling and flooring. Also, pitch can be used as a coating to other objects for protecting it from leaking or breakage.
