Papier Coll Definition
Papier coll is an art work using paper. It is simply a collage using paper. In French, it means pasted/stuck paper or paper cut outs. In papier coll, paper sheets are cut out into different shapes and art work is created out of this. The first aapier coll is said to have been made by the Cubist painter in 1912. The term is also seen used to refer to collage work of cubists alone.
