Nirosta Definition
The term ‘Nirosta’ refers to a stainless steel brand name or trademark which applies to numerous types of stainless steels that are designed by Krupp Thyssen Nirosta GmbH (KTN) which is headquartered at Krefeld in Germany. This Trademark was registered in 1922 in Germany. Moreover, the company stands reputed as the world’s renowned manufacturer of stainless steel. A classic example of a work in Nirosta: is the Chrysler Building located in the New York City designed by William Van Alen (American, 1882-1954). The Chrysler Building is considered a leading example of Art Deco architecture. The entire crown of this Building is clad with silvery "Enduro KA-2" metal, the trade name of which is "Nirosta."
