Mobile Definition
The term mobile in the context of art refers to a kinetic sculpture made of rods or wires from which weighted objects hang. The objects hung from the wires balance each other. This help to set the entire construction to motion at the slightest air. Alexander Calder is considered to be the first person to introduce the mobile art form.
