Kewpies Definition
Kewpies are a brand of dolls and figurines that were conceived as comic strip character by artist and writer Rose O’Neil. Kewpies are mostly baby cupid illustrations. Their popularity led O’Neil to sell paper doll versions of the Kewpies. They were initially produced as bisque dolls from Walterhausen, Germany and gained popularity in the early 20th century.
