Fraternal Definition
The term Fraternal in the context of antiques refers to the objects related to the different fraternal organizations of US like Masons and Odd Fellows. The members of the fraternal organizations used to wear rings which had different symbols like trowels, beehives and hourglass conveying meanings such as cementing of relationships, industriousness and mortality. Fraternal antiques include medals, badges, pins, dinnerware, tumblers, mugs and souvenirs.
