Eurythmy Definition
E The term 'Eurythmy' is of Greek origin. It simply connotes beauty or harmonious rhythm. When used in the context of architecture, it means harmony of proportion. We can see eurythmy designs which incorporate the principles of proportion, harmony, and movement.
The term is also seen used to refer to the performance art that was developed in the 20th century by Rudolf Steiner in association with Marie von Sivers. This art form which focusses on expressive movements is used in education, for example, inWaldorf schools.
