Coalbrookdale Definition
Coalbrookdale furniture were popular in Victorian times. They were made by Coalbrookdale Company of Shropshire, England. The pieces decorated with three dimensional flowers were intended to be used as outdoor furniture. The pieces were marked “Coalbrookdale” or “C-B Dale Co.” A kite mark is also found on the Coalbrookdale pieces.
