Ching Definition
Ching is the name of a Chinese dynasty that existed in the 17th century (1644-1911). The dynasty is also known as Qing and Manchu. There are many famous works of arts during this period. The art works were dominated by three main groups of artists known as the traditionalists, the individualists, and the courtiers, or the officials, including the professional artists in Manchu court.
