Carta Pesta Definition
Carta Pesta is an Italian word for papier-mâché or papier mâché. Papier-mâché is a composite material used in hand arts and crafts. It mainly consists of pieces of paper or pulp. Sometimes it is reinforced with yarn or cloth and bonded with adhesives. It can be molded or sculptured into different shapes by wetting with water. The substance becomes hard when dry and can be used for painting, varnishing etc. It is widely used in art as it is light weight and low cost.
