Bourgeois Definition
The term Bourgeois means “those who live in the borough”. These include the merchants and the craftsmen who live in urban areas away from rural. Those people who has a typical behaviour and who has values similar to a upper and middle class society may be categorized as bourgeois. People of those upper middle class are known as “haute bourgeoisie”. These terms can usually be seen in Marxist writings and they use this term top refer to those who earn high income, own estates and employ labours under them.
