Blowup Definition
The term Blow up refers to an enlargement and is also called a bump up. In art context, it is most commonly used in photography. It may be an enlarged photograph or part of a photograph. Thus, to blow up means to enlarge the size or detail of a photograph. The subject of a photograph will be tightly framed and can be viewed at a relatively large scale, as seen when zoomed in on a detail.
