Architectonic Definition
An architectonic refers to the characteristics in architecture which are not essentially architectural. For example, in classical Roman fresco painting, the artist covered walls with structural elements columns and porticos. Illusory windows revealed picturesque landscapes. Its use of linear perspective made the architectonic style effective.
