SURFACE TENSION - Roger Reutimann
Roger Reutimann was born in Switzerland. He has been a professional sculptor since 2006. Most of his work has a social critical content, which he expresses through the human figure. Reutimann lives and works in Boulder, CO.
“While exploring to merge realism and abstraction I am also considering the human perception in my work. Succeeding as bridges between reality and invention, form and discernment. My sculptures are two-dimensional simplified silhouettes, which from different perspectives reveal abstract three dimensional shapes. I am showing that there is no fixed reality, nor single perception of the world and I am challenging the viewer by presenting dialogues of perception versus realities.”
