Marking Time: Seasonal Imagery in Japanese Prints

August 9, 2016 - May 21, 2017 - An exhibition of Japanese prints featuring seasonal imagery will celebrate the AMAM’s 2016–17 theme of “Time.” In Japanese culture, deeply rooted appreciation for the natural world combines with the four distinct seasons to create a rich tradition of art and literature that evokes and represents seasonal change.
