Expanded Practice

October 18 - December 11, 2016 - This exhibition will feature recent work by junior faculty from Penn State’s School of Visual Arts. The work of this group of practitioners is well suited to explorations of how notions of “research and creative accomplishment” can be represented and teased out given the multiplicity of ways many of them work. Expanded Practice invites us to rethink what constitutes art-based research as a mode of cultural production undertaken by faculty members within institutional settings.
