ART& – An Experiment in Art & Community

19 August 2016 - 8 January 2017 - This exhibition  is an innovative project centered on art and community. A dedicated section of the Ackland Art Museum, ART& will enable community gatherings and a wide range of art-centered activities, from film screenings and performances to talks and hands-on art making.

The flexible ART& space will be available for visitors make the museum their own whether they want a date spot, a place to gather and converse with friends and classmates, or a quiet spot for a cup of coffee. Yes, that does say “coffee.” Read on!
