Andrew Wyeth: Maine Watercolors
This exhibition spans the years 1938 through 2008 and surveys the artist's work in Maine during that time. Watercolor is the perfect medium to capture a spontaneous moment: light, weather, emotion. Andrew worked with watercolor quickly, relishing the nature of the medium, and knowing intuitively where not to paint - where to let the white of the paper help define the forms.
Closed Mondays
The museum is handicapped-accessible.
