Edens Auctions New Year Auction Results

January 5, 2014.  Edens Auctions, Inc. of Jackson, Mississippi held it's Annual New Year Auction on January 4th.  The auction contained a variety of antique furniture, collectibles and other items and was attended by over 125 potential bidders.  It was a live auction with no online bidding.

One highlight of the auction was an Illinois Central Railroad Engine Bell from the late 1800's or early 1900's.  The bell was acquired by a train collector who lived in Jackson, Mississippi for over 60 years.

The Railroad Engine Bell had Illinois Central RailRoad markings on several areas of the iron frame supporting the bell.

Bidding started at $1000 and the successful bidder won the bidding with a final bid of $3,000.00.
