Young Architects Project (YAP) 2016

June 28 - August 28, 2016 - This exhibition features the five finalists’ proposals from the MoMA/MoMA PS1 Young Architects Program (YAP), in addition to five finalists from each of our affiliated programs the National Museum of XXI Century Arts in Rome, Italy (MAXXI); the Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art in Seoul, Korea (MMCA); and CONSTRUCTO in Santiago, Chile. Now in its 17th edition, the Young Architects Program at MoMA PS1 offers emerging architectural practitioners the opportunity to propose a built project, challenging each year’s entrants to develop highly innovative designs for a temporary outdoor installation that provides shade, seating, and water.
