There are two designations offered by the National Auctioneers Association. One called the GRADUATE, PERSONAL PROPERTY APPRAISER (GPPA) and the other, MASTER PERSONAL PROPERTY APPRAISER (MPPA), Information can be found here: http://www.auctioneers.org/designations/mppa
