Do auctioneers conduct the sales of property being foreclosed upon?

It depends on the State.  In some States, a licensed auctioneer is required to conduct the auction when property is being foreclosed upon.  In others, there are no specific requirements and the attorney, or his/her agent, handling the foreclosure can conduct the auction of the property.
