The Souvenir Card Collectors' Society (SCCS) was founded in 1980 to foster the study, collection and dissemination of printed mementos of American history. Souvenir Card collecting is considered a specialty branch of both philately (stamp collecting) and numismatics (coin and banknote collecting), and its membership includes participants in both hobbies. Metro Chapter Four of SCCS was established in 1992 and publishes souvenir cards principally at the spring and fall ASDA Mega Stamp Show where it maintains a society booth.
