Mission: To promote a broad understanding and appreciation of Sandwich town history, with particular emphasis on the unique contribution of the glass industry.
The Sandwich Historical Society and Glass Museum interpret the history of the town of Sandwich and its glass industry. Exhibits of glass and historical items tell the story of the town's greatest contribution to the American Industrial Revolution. More than 6,000 glass pieces created by Sandwich glass companies are on display. Live daily glassblowing demonstrations, a multi-media theater and changing contemporary glass exhibits make it a "must see"..
