The Early American Industries Association, Inc. preserves and presents historic trades, crafts, and tools, and interprets their impact on our lives.
The EAIA is an international membership organization that publishes a quarterly newsletter called Shavings and a scholarly publication on tools and historic trades called The Chronicle. Regional and national meetings allow members to meet, discuss tools and historic trades, sell and exchange tools and learn from speakers and exhibits. EAIA hold craft classes at Historic Eastfield Village in East Nassau, NY each July.
